Our Story
Founded by Shannon McAdams, Grandma’s Hands was created as the community outreach arm of The Southern Palate, extending the same spirit of hospitality, compassion, and care beyond the dining table and into the lives of those who need it most.
Inspired by the love, wisdom, and nurturing nature of our elders, Grandma’s Hands exists to ensure that seniors are not forgotten, isolated, or left without access to the support they deserve.
Through community programs, food assistance initiatives, outreach efforts, and meaningful connections, we work to address food insecurity while fostering hope, wellness, and a sense of belonging among the senior population.
By partnering with community members, volunteers, donors, and local organizations, we strive to create lasting impact and build a stronger, more caring Savannah for generations to come.
